Austria: Information and Statistics is an informational booklet highlighting Austria’s rich culture, diverse geography, and complex history. The primary objective of this booklet was to combine statistical information with text, engaging illustrations, and typography to allow further understanding of Austria and its people. By combining information with design, the booklet aims to interest readers while making complex data accessible and engaging for a broader audience.  

The design of the booklet was guided by the principles of readability, clarity, and organization. The color palette remains primary–drawing from the national colors of Austria–red and white–for background elements to reduce the distraction of information by visuals. A clean, modern sans-serif typeface enhances optimal legibility and reflects Austria’s modern character blending well with the booklet’s minimalist aesthetic. Illustrations are not seen as literal depictions but as abstracted, stylized graphics that help evoke the essence of the imagery. The combination of the elements allows for an educational, but cohesive final product.
